Pangkarra is proudly a family owned and operated business, based in the Clare Valley, South Australia.
For five generations, our family has produced quality cereals and legumes, as well as export hay.
Today, we also produce fine food products, including premium wholegrain dry pasta, stone milled wholegrain durum flour, wholegrain lavosh, and gluten free pasta. More recently, Pangkarra Foods have launched cooked chickpeas in a pouch, as well as three delicious snack packs comprising of roasted chickpeas, faba beans and broad beans. Our products are made from grain and legumes grown on our farm, using sustainable farming methods incorporating organic fertilisers. The flour is milled using traditional stone milling methods to maintain the integrity of the wholegrains. The pasta is dried slowly on racks at a consistent low temperature, the way traditional pasta is made, which ensures the product’s nutritional qualities are protected
